Beverley is a highly skilled facilitator, organisational strategist and manager with nearly thirty years’ experience of working with non-governmental organisations, networks and coalitions.
She facilitates a wide range of strategy, planning and creative away days, both with single organisations and with newly formed or well established alliances. Drawing on her extensive experience in the sector and her strong facilitation skills, Beverley skilfully steers participants and organisations towards clear outcomes which participants feel ownership of.
Beverley has successfully led departments at a senior management level, most recently as ActionAid UK’s Policy, Advocacy and Campaigns Director. She supports and advises organisations on strategic reviews, strategy and planning and also mentors senior staff and provides campaign coaching.
Beverley has developed and managed award winning campaigns and built up extensive experience of developing and working within coalitions and networks both in the UK and internationally. She has a Masters Degree in Gender and Development and is a Board member of the Gender and Development Network (UK).
